What Drew You To
This Story?
My interest in exploring these themes is rooted in a commitment to amplifying marginalized voices, especially women who are often excluded from decision-making and leadership roles.
When The Personal Becomes Political
I’m particularly invested in how trauma—whether personal or national—can become a catalyst for both individual growth and broader societal change. Moran’s struggle with the erasure of Jewish women’s suffering in the context of global feminist movements is an issue I believe needs more attention, and I feel a responsibility to help share those voices.
As a storyteller, I bring a lens of empathy and urgency to this narrative.
I aim to delve into the complexities of activism, where the fight for equality can both empower and exclude. The tension between Moran’s personal and political life—her relationship with her traditional religious upbringing, her grief over the events of October 7th, and her shifting role in the global feminist movement—provides a rich tapestry for exploring broader questions about justice, identity, and community.
Ultimately, my worldview shapes my approach by highlighting the intersectionality of activism: how personal pain, whether through loss, trauma, or betrayal, often intersects with the systemic need for change. I bring an unflinching, raw perspective to Moran’s transformation, capturing her vulnerability and strength in equal measure, in order to create an authentic portrayal that is both emotionally resonant and politically charged.
